it's been a really fun year or so playing with atlantic. i think part of what makes it so much fun is knowing that, come august, we're all going our separate ways and we're not trying to make it big. although i occasionally miss the feeling of being in a band that could record in a professional studio and draw a large crowd to shows...
i know that at this time in my life that's not where i should be.
i LOVE music. i LOVE playing music.
and it's honestly hard for me to imagine doing much else with my life.
but every day i am reminded of how much GREATER God is and how much MORE he knows than what i think i know, and i'm just excited to see where he'll have me next year, or in four years, or in ten years.

BUT for now i am learning to take advantage of and appreciate each day, and part of that is being thankful for the opportunity i have to play music with atlantic...even though we MAY spend more time making rap versions of our songs or learning all the vocal harmonies to "afternoon delight" than actually practicing or writing music.
but gosh darn it, it's fun.

(my favorite one of our songs...if i'm allowed to say that)
